It’s hard to imagine that studios used to wait until the summer to release their high-profile tentpole releases. Of course, in recent years, every month is apparently fair game for an expensive, star-studded to hit your local theater. Take, for instance, this month, which brings several major franchise entries. Films like the long-awaited sequel to Pacific Rim and the latest from directors like Steen Spielberg and Wes Anderson are about to be unleashed, continuing the blockbuster trend kicked off by Black Panther last month.

For a while now, I’ve been contributing a rundown of each month’s most anticipated releases for Screen Rant, and with yet another month upon us, the time has come to take a close look at what we cinephiles have to look forward to in the weeks ahead. March looks to be a big one, with Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time perhaps the biggest unanswered question at the box office. Head on over to Screen Rant for my full breakdown.
